Welcome to Movie Marathons!
Throwing a theme party and need some movies that go GREAT together? Planning a class and need films that will address your content? Are you going through a Eurospy or Japan phase and need to find more titles? Movie Marathons is a place where I hope we can enjoy movie event planning and cinema culture together. I've been organizing movie events for schools and communities for over twenty years. My own work as a writer/filmmaker has been recognized and awarded by the Nicholl Fellowships (Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences), Sundance Film Festival, PBS, and others. Delighted to find your blog, with the help of your very kind aunt! And great to see your film interests. I'm into world cinema too, Mizoguchi, Renoir, Tarkovsky, Ozu, Hitchcock.. look forward to some chats. And i'll take a look at some of the sites mentioned here i've not been to before.
